Toyota’s 2024 Camry and Camry Hybrid earned double wins in the U.S. News & World Report prestigious car rankings.
Both sedans claimed top honors in the "Best Midsize Car for Families" and "Best Midsize Hybrid for Families" categories. The Camry’s recognition in both classes underscores its exceptional fuel efficiency, ample passenger space and advanced tech-safety features–all key assets for families on the go.

Winning attributes
Camry’s base engine is a 2.5-liter engine matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission with 203-206 hp output depending on the trim.
Drivers prioritizing fuel conservation can opt for the Camry Hybrid. The model pairs a gas engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 208 hp.
Infotainment and connectivity features include a 7-inch touchscreen connected to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa for uninterrupted smartphone integration.
Other conveniences include Wi-Fi connectivity, a USB charging port, six-speaker sound system and accessible heating and air conditioning controls.
Top trims add a 9-inch multimedia interface, leather-trimmed seating, dual zone climate control with rear-seat vents, an immersive nine-speaker JBL boombox, three USB ports and wireless chargers.
All Camry models are equipped with Toyota's Safety Sense 2.5 + system. It offers a significant upgrade over 2.0 and offers enhanced detection capabilities, reactive intersection support and emergency steering assistance.
U.S. News & World Report "Best Cars for Families" provides insight into the choice vehicles that meet the multifaceted needs of families with children. The benchmark for a vehicle's overall rating includes safety data, on-road reliability, passenger room, cargo space and the consensus opinion of the automotive press.
Awards also consider the availability of family comforts and conveniences like wireless internet, hands-free cargo doors, automatic emergency braking, rear-cross traffic alert and prompts that help teens develop safe driving habits.
The vehicles with the highest composite scores are selected as the "Best Cars for Families" in nine respective categories.
