Toyota’s 2026 bZ delivers impressive driving range, charging efficiency and overall vehicle design.
The all-electric SUV delivers a manufacturer-estimated rating of 314 miles on a full charge, giving families the confidence to plan extended summer road trips. The addition of a North American Charging System port expands access to more than 25,000 fast-charging stations across popular travel routes.

Toyota’s EV Routing feature calculates routes based on the bZ all-electric current charge, battery capacity and real-time energy consumption. Routing automatically maps out optimal routes with convenient stops at compatible charging stations along the way.
Families can schedule their charging stops easily and recharge whether they are visiting Grand Canyon National Park or passing through major cities such as Los Angeles or Chicago.
The 2026 bZ offers redesigned front fascia, new center console, slimmer instrument panel, updated 14-inch touchscreen, extra legroom for rear passengers and more flexible cargo space to make it easier to pack for family summer trips.
Trim Levels
There are three primary trims in the 2026 bZ lineup. The standard XLE, mid-range XLE Plus available with an upgraded battery and the premium Limited trim. Each trim is offered in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations.
A bZ Woodland model provides a rugged and adventure-ready version that includes all-wheel drive with X-Mode. It also has increased ground clearance, underbody protection, roof-rail crossbars, multi-terrain camera views, more cargo space than previous bZ models and a 3,500 pounds maximum towing capacity.
"This bZ Woodland brings an outdoor-inspired style to our lineup and embraces the spirit of adventure with a rugged style and all-electric powertrain, " said David Christ, general manager of the Toyota Division at Toyota Motor North America.
An optional package on select trims adds ventilated front seats, memory driver seat and side view mirrors, a panoramic glass roof, digital rearview mirror, all-terrain tires, nine-speaker audio system with an eight-channel 800-watt amplifier and subwoofer.
Exterior paint options include Halo, Steel, Pavement, Raven Black, Trueno Blue and an all-new Stepping Stone color.
Under the Hood
Toyota’s XLE 2026 bZ generates 201 hp and 265 Ib-ft of torque paired with a single-speed automatic transmission that delivers smooth and responsive acceleration.
The base bZ SUV comes equipped with a 57.7‑kWh battery, delivering an estimated range of 235 miles on front-wheel drive models and 288 miles on all-wheel drive variants. A North American Charging System port gives drivers access to thousands of dependable high-speed charging stations across the country.
When using a compatible DC fast charger, the 2026 bZ can recharge its battery from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes. An updated conditioning optimizes performance for enhanced driving range, fast-charging speeds and long-term battery health.
Drivers can activate the new battery conditioning feature manually through the touchscreen or allow the system to automatically tweak adjustments for peak performance.
A regenerative braking system recovers energy during deceleration and redirects it to the battery to extend the bZ’s driving range and boost efficiency in stop-and-go traffic.
Comfort and Convenience
The XLE trim includes a 14-inch multimedia touchscreen, 7.0-inch digital driver display, eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless charging pad, four USB ports and six-speaker audio system.
A new slim dashboard design combines style and functionality, placing the 14-inch touchscreen and essential controls within easy reach.
The bZ can accommodate plenty of cargo including large suitcases, mountain bikes and camping gear for a weekend getaway.Total cargo space includes 27.7 cubic feet behind the second row and 56.9 cubic feet with rear seats folded flat.
The Limited trim includes a 14-inch touchscreen with premium navigation, dual wireless smartphone chargers, front and rear cabin ambient lighting with 64 color options and nine-speaker audio setup.
Safety
All 2026 models are equipped with a full suite of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 features which protect drivers and passengers in a wide range of traffic and road scenarios.
