Under the Hood
Buyers have a choice when it comes to the engine for their 2020 Toyota Camry. The base model is powered by 2.5-liter, four-cylinder, 16-valve engine producing 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque.
Drivers looking for more oomph can opt for the 3.5-liter, V6; a 24-valve twin-cam engine generating 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with Toyota’s Direct Shift eight-speed ECT-I automatic transmission with sequential shift mode.
Comfort & Convenience
There are seven trim packages available with the 2020 Toyota Camry, each offering its own unique style. There’s the L, LE, SE, Nightshade, TRD, XSE and XLE.
A 4.2-inch TFT Multi-Information Display showcasing the odometer, exterior temperature, fuel economy and trip information, current/average fuel economy, distance to empty, average speed, trip distance with timer, TPMS and warning messages comes standard, while upgraded versions enjoy 7-inch TFT Multi-Information Display with customizable settings.
V6 models contain a 10-inch color Head-Up Display (HUD) with customizable settings. All versions of the 2020 Toyota Camry are compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, providing drivers seamless integration with their smartphones.
Safety
Ten airbags and three-point seat belts for all seating positions comes standard on every 2020 Toyota Camry. Toyota’s STAR Safety System, which includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, 4-wheel Anti-lock Brake System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist and Smart Stop Technology also comes standard on every 2020 Camry.
The SE, Nightshade, TRD, XSE and XLE Camrys have a Tire Pressure Monitoring System that offers a direct pressure readout. XSE and XLE Camrys include a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert for additional peace of mind.
