Toyota’s 2025 Sienna delivers a fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain, expanded cabin space and a range of safety features for summer family fun.
The minivan introduces several upgrades including an Advanced Rear Seat Reminder system that detects movement in the backseats after the vehicle is turned off and locked.
An integrated vacuum cleaner for quick cleanups while on the go. A FridgeBox to keep drinks cold and snacks fresh during long road trips are also available for the 2025 model year.
Trim Levels
The entry-level LE features a new 8.0-inch touchscreen while a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display is available on the XLE, Woodland Edition, XSE, Limited and Platinum models.
Engineers have also redesigned the center console across all trim levels. This includes an anodized dark gray colored paint on the LE and XLE.
A gloss black serrated finish on the XSE and off-road Woodland Edition adds a dynamic and modern touch to the interior.
The high-end Platinum and Limited models feature an upscale woodgrain finish on the center console that enhances the cabin’s plush atmosphere.
Other upgrades include new wheel designs for the Woodland Edition and Platinum trims. A Magnetic Gray Metallic exterior color choice is also available on Platinum, Limited, XSE, XLE and LE grades.
The XSE and Woodland Edition vehicles are equipped with bold blacked-out door handles, grilles and windows for a sporty and rugged appeal. A Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) badge has also been added to the rear liftgate of all models.
Under the Hood
Toyota’s 2025 Sienna features a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.5-liter engine with two electric motors. The combination produces a total output of 245 hp with a manufacturer estimated 36 mpg for FWD models and 35 combined mpg on AWD variants.
An Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive system works seamlessly with the Sienna’s hybrid powertrain to deliver 80% of available torque to the rear wheels.
This proactive system minimizes front-wheel slip and provides additional traction on slippery surfaces and uneven terrain.
The 2025 Sienna also offers versatile driving performance options. NORMAL mode provides a smooth and comfortable ride for everyday commuters.
SPORT mode offers more acceleration for drivers looking for high-performance and is particularly useful for highway merges.
Toyota’s ECO drive option maximizes efficiency by optimizing fuel and battery use. EV mode allows electric-only driving at low speeds for short distances--- ideal for quick errands or navigating parking lots.
Comfort and Convenience
The base Sienna LE seats eight passengers and comes with power-sliding doors, three-zone climate control, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, second-row sunshades and bench seat with a center seat for easy third-row access.
Two children can sit in the outboard positions and a third child can be seated in the center within arm’s reach. This seating configuration is perfect for family weekend outings, school-drop-offs and sporting events.
The third row seats comfortably accommodate three passengers and include recline functions for additional comfort during longer drives. This setup is well-suited for teens or older siblings who prefer more personal space.
A 60/40 Split and Stow folds the third row seat flat into the floor and offers a spacious cargo area for family luggage and recreational gear.
Other amenities include an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, 7-inch multi-information display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, seven USB charging ports, a wireless charging pad, remote keyless entry with push button start and a six-speaker audio system.
An optional LE plus package adds a power tilt and slide sunroof, black roof rails, auto-dimming rear view mirror and an eight-speaker boombox.
The features available on higher trims include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, 10-inch color head-up display, four-zone climate control, third-row sunshades, hands-free dual power sliding side doors and 12-speaker premium audio system.
Toyota’s Super-Long Slide second-row captain’s chairs available in XLE, Limited and Platinum grades make it easier to adjust the cabin layout for passenger comfort and increased cargo flexibility.
The chairs slide forward and back up to 25 inches which makes it easier to optimize space between second and third rows when accommodating adults or tall teens.
In addition, sliding the seats forward creates 33.5 cubic feet of storage space without compromising passenger space.
An advanced Rear Seat Reminder sensor triggers hazard lights and chimes when movement is detected after the ignition is switched off and the car is locked. Approximately 90 seconds after the initial warning, if the door has not been opened, the vehicle horn sounds off to escalate the emergency.
An active Safety Connect subscription also sends push notifications to the Toyota app and an SMS text message to the phone number saved in the user's account.
All Sienna grades feature an anti-theft system with an engine immobilizer and include dual microphones for enhanced call clarity during hands-free conversations.
