2025 Crown Signia: Design Meets Comfort, Hybrid Efficiency

Toyota’s 2025 Crown Signia delivers a fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain, cushioned cabin comfort and advanced tech safety features.

Engineers have equipped the five-seater SUV with a standard electronic on-demand All Wheel Drive and a Hybrid Electric Vehicle system.

Toyota offers the Crown Signia in XLE and Limited models with five standout color choices. Black, Storm Cloud and Bronze Age are standard colors. Finish Line Red and Oxygen White are premium paint options. Both vehicles offer interior selection of either Black or Saddle Tan hues.

The Crown Signia’s commanding driver seat position with a 24.8-inch hip point enhances visibility and makes it easier for parents to navigate tight spaces in school districts. Wider opening doors make it easy for children with backpacks to enter and exit the vehicle with little assistance during school drop-offs and pick-ups.

A 25.8 cubic foot cargo bay effortlessly accommodates sport equipment, art supplies and musical instruments for after-school activities.

Under the Hood

Toyota’s Crown Signia uses a 2.5-liter gas engine synced to two electric motor generators.

The engine generates 240 hp and 178 Ib-ft of torque power. The electric motors deliver additional output of 134 Ib-ft to the front wheels and 89 Ib-ft to rear wheels.

The hybrid battery power saves on fuel costs by running the vehicle on electric power across short distances.

Comfort and Convenience

Standard equipment includes ventilated front seats and Toyota’s latest multimedia system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and six-speakers.

The Limited model includes a 21-inch sound box of 11 speakers. An auto-leveling software maintains the same decibel levels across all audio sources.

Both the Limited and XLE models have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless charging and USB rear seat ports for kids to plug their mobile devices on the way home.

Power adjustment lumbar driver seating supports optimal spinal alignment and reduces the risk of back problems from consistently driving children to school.

The Signia’s rear seats come with a padded cushioning lounge-like design for children to rest and relax after a tiring day. To reduce cabin heat during hot summer days, Crown windows utilize a high solar absorbing glass for UV protection.

Safety

All 2025 Crown Signia models are equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. The array of safety technologies offer in-cabin protection to passengers.

An eight-airbag system in all seating positions prioritizes a safe space for school commutes.

Standard features on all Crown Signia models:

  • Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection: Detects pedestrians in busy school zones or drop-off areas near the vehicle.
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist: Prevents unintentional lane departures from distractions usually common with kids in the car.
  • Full Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control: Adjusts vehicle speed to maintain a preset distance and avoid collisions in congested areas.
  • Road Sign Assist: Allows parents to focus on the road ahead instead of constantly being distracted by road signs in busy traffic.
  • Proactive Driving Assist: Anticipates potential road hazards and helps prevent accidents involving children walking to or from school.

Optional features:

  • Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert: Provides an unobstructed view of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles in schools.
  • Safe Exit Assist: Warns of approaching cyclists and vehicles when children exit the car.

An Advanced Technology Package on Limited trims adds Lane Change Assist and Front Cross-Traffic Alert which detects vehicles approaching from both sides when pulling out of a school parking lot.
