2025 Camry Hybrid Designed For Summer Fun, Safety

The 2025 Camry Hybrid builds on the success of Toyota's industry-leading technology to offer exceptional fuel efficiency, a new interior design and impressive safety features.

Electronic-on-Demand All Wheel debuts on LE, SE, XLE and XSE trims.

The AWD system is synced to a rear electric motor and adds additional traction to the rear wheels on muddy and dirt roads.

New exterior color options include Ocean Gem and Heavy Metal. XSE grade adds an optional two-tone look with Ocean Gem, Wind Chill Pearl, Heavy Metal and Supersonic Red paired with a Black Metallic roof.

Under the Hood

The 2025 Camry Hybrid combines a 2.5-liter engine with a fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System for a standard 225 hp and 51 mpg on front-wheel drive models.

THS-5 achieves better fuel economy through a combination of factors. The fundamental changes include lightweight electric motor-generators that use reduced kinetic energy for the Camry's movement.

A lithium-ion pack has replaced nickel-metal hydride batteries in the previous model. Modifications allow the electric motor to conserve fuel because it reduces engine workload.

Engineers have also optimized battery power capacity from the electric motors to boost engine speed. More reliance on electric power during accelerations increases the Camry hybrid's fuel economy, making summer excursions enjoyable and budget-friendly.

Toyota’s technology allows individuals to travel farther, spend less on gas and save more for adventures.

Comfort and Convenience

The entry-level LE trim offers preferable cloth seating for better breathability in scorching temperatures.

Dual-zone climate control allows occupants to choose their preferences and remain comfortable in hot climates. Added rear air vents ensure the cool air circulates for backseat passengers to also enjoy on summer rides.

A 7-inch digital gauge cluster is standard on LE and SE 2025 models. The screen shows vital information like fuel efficiency, distance to empty and average speed. Displays help drivers plan gas station stops effectively to avoid getting stranded in remote areas or the summer heat.

The car's interface allows the driver to personalize the display to show outside temperatures and set the appropriate gauge for young children in the backseat. XLE and XSE grades are equipped with 12.3-inch clusters and 10-inch Head Up Displays for tire speed, warning indicators and turn-by-turn navigation.

HUD warning indicators like low tire pressure are directly in the eye line of drivers and prompt fast reaction times to avoid breakdowns or accidents. Turn-by-turn directions make it easier to follow directions and reach unfamiliar summer destinations without getting lost or missing exits.

Additional amenities on the 2025 Camry hybrid include memory-side view mirrors and automatic rain-sensing wipers. A power tilt and slide panoramic roof with a power-retractable sunshade also debuts on XLE and XSE trims.

Five USB ports are available to power devices simultaneously across all models. The charging points provide entertainment options for passengers and ensure devices stay fully charged for emergencies.

Safety

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on all 2025 Camry Hybrid vehicles.

TSS 3.0 offers drivers enhanced safety features and an acute awareness of the vehicle's surroundings to avoid car crashes in summer months.

Key features:

  • Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection: Detects summertime pedestrian traffic and outdoor activities and warns of potential collisions.
  • Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control: Maintains a set distance from cars ahead as driving fatigue caused by consistently adjusting speeds can occur.
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist: Prevents lane drifting in hot summer temperatures and keeps the Camry hybrid within lane boundaries.
  • Road Sign Assist: System: Recognizes traffic signs and speed limits in unfamiliar areas during summer travels.
  • Proactive Driving Assist: Cruises at low speeds and automates gentle steering and braking adjustments in congested areas.
