Toyota`s 2024 Highlander Hybrid earned the Best Hybrid and Electric Car award from U.S. News & World Report.
The three-row SUV was recognized as the “Best Hybrid SUV for Families” after impressing judges with a combined fuel economy of 36 mpg on FWD models. It offers spacious seating for up to eight passengers for daily commutes, errands with the kids and comfortable long distance travel.
Highlander Hybrid also prioritizes safety with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance features, offering a stress-free trip that allows families to concentrate on memorable times together.

Features and amenities
The 2024 Highlander Hybrid combines a 2.5-liter engine with a hybrid system for a total output of 243 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque.
A second-row fold-down captain`s chair configuration offers convenient seating for seven with an optional three-person sliding bench seat accommodating eight passengers.
Cargo space is 20.6 cubic feet behind the third row. It expands to an expansive 97.5 cubic feet with rear seats folded down. The storage space is ideal for family shopping, travel luggage, sporting equipment and camping gear.
A 3,500 pound towing capacity lets families haul a camper equipped with a kitchenette and comfortable beds for the kids for a weekend getaway.
Safety and connection
Standard on the 2024 Highlander Hybrid is Toyota’s Safety Sense 2.5+ system that includes pre-collision pedestrian detection, full-speed range-dynamic radar, radar-cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, road sign assist and automatic high beams.
Drivers can enhance their on-road experiences with an array of available Toyota Connected Service trials like Drive Connect, Remote Connect, Service Connect and Wi-Fi Connect.
The U.S. News & World Report vehicle awards acknowledge outstanding choices in the hybrid and electric vehicle market with the Best Hybrid and Electric Car awards.
