The 2023 Venza impresses with a fuel-efficient powertrain, well-trimmed interior and updated bundle of safeguard technologies for daily commutes and weekend escapes.
Toyota’s Venza lineup includes a Nightshade Edition fitted with dark styling elements of the grille, outer mirrors, door handles, rocker panels and roof rails.
The special SUV also adds 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels, smoked chrome moldings, a hands-free power liftgate and LED fog lamps. Exterior colors include Ruby Red Flare, Wind Chill Pearl and Celestial Black.
Under the Hood
Standard on the 2023 Venza is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to three electric motors that generate 176 hp and 163 Ib-ft torque productivity.
The advanced all-hybrid powertrain delivers 219 combined net hp with a 3.7 lithium-ion battery that recharges during deceleration.
Four distinct drive modes are matched to driving preferences. Sport mode is engineered for throttle response and sharp acceleration. Eco mode optimizes fuel and battery performance for maximum mileage.
Normal mode is designed for everyday driving scenarios and balances engine performance with fuel conservation. EV mode allows electric-only driving at low speeds for distances up to 25 miles.
Venza attains an EPA-estimated 40 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway—an ideal choice for people in dense city areas or daily travelers on expressways.
