Under the Hood
There are six different trim packages and two different engine options for the 2020 Toyota Tacoma. The base model comes with a 2.7-liter, inline four-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC engine. This cast iron engine with an aluminum alloy head produces 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque.
The larger engine is a 3.5-liter, six-cylinder, D-4S Injection Atkinson Cycle Engine with VVT-iW Variable Valve Timing-Intelligent Wider Intake and Variable Valve Timing-Intelligent Exhaust. It generates 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque.
Both engines are available with front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations.
Comfort & Convenience
A 4.2- inch color multi-information display that shows the external temperature, odometer, trip meters and average fuel economy comes standard with every 2020 Toyota Tacoma, as well as two USB charging ports and a USB media port.
The stylish TRD Pro comes with leather-trimmed heated front seats, a 10-way adjustable driver’s seat with two-way power lumbar support and a four-way adjustable front passenger seat. A leather-trimmed shift lever is standard on the TRD Sport trim and higher.
The SRS, TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road trims enjoy a six speaker sound system and an 8-inch media touchscreen that’s compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa.
Safety
The 2020 Toyota Tacoma features a wealth of driver-assistance technologies standard. Toyota Safety Sense P includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert, Automatic High Beams and High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
