New Cars

Toyota’s all-new 2026 RAV4 combines electrified powertrains with a redesigned interior and next-gen Safety Sense 4.0 for enhanced capabilities for your winter as well as summer adventure.

An updated exterior design features a hammerhead-style front end, contoured hood, higher ground clearance, angular fenders and an upright rear cargo area.

A flat roofline, sculpted door panels, flared wheel arches and tightened body lines define the all-new RAV4’s athletic stance. Full-width LED signature taillights span across a reshaped tailgate giving the five- passenger SUV a commanding road presence.

RAV4 Models

The 2026 RAV4 is available in Core, Rugged and Sport design themes in seven trim levels. Each one is distinguished by a unique grille, wheels and trim accents.

Toyota’s Core design theme includes LE, XLE  Premium and Limited trims. The Rugged design is exclusive to the new Woodland RAV4 for the model year, while the Sport category features the SE, XSE and the first-ever GR Sport model.

The RAV4 is available in eight exterior colors. This selection includes the new additions Everest, Storm Cloud and Meteor Shower.

Two-tone roof options are available on Sport and GR Sport trims. The contrasting roof color further enhances the RAV4’s sporty appeal.

Toyota’s 2026 Woodland trim is available in a unique Urban Rock exterior color. The features of the off-road SUV include a standard AWD, an 8.5-inch ground clearance, all-weather floor and cargo mats, roof rails with cross bars, all-terrain tires, tow hitch receiver and a 1500-watt AC power outlet in the rear cargo area.

Under the Hood

The RAV4 AWD Hybrid pairs a 2.5-liter engine with electric motors to deliver 236 hp and 163 Ib-ft of torque. FWD models produce 226 hp which is an increase of 23 hp over the previous model.

Toyota’s Plug-in Hybrid RAV4 generates 320 hp and offers an electric driving range of 52 miles. Engineers have also mated the SUV’s hybrid powertrain with a range of new technologies.

  • Electronically Controlled Braking System optimizes brake response in slow-moving traffic and ensures a smooth and seamless deceleration when slowing down.
  • Vehicle Braking Posture Control directs braking power at specific wheels and minimizes body roll during quick lane changes and sharp corners.
  • Cooperative Steering Driving Force works with the steering system for enhanced traction on wet or winding roads.

The 2026 Toyota RAV4 offers five modes to suit different driving preferences and road conditions.

Eco prioritizes fuel consumption and battery performance, while Normal is suited for everyday commuting. Sport mode boosts throttle response for quick acceleration and EV mode allows the RAV4 to run only on electric power for short distances.

A custom mode allows drivers to adjust throttle, acceleration, steering and suspension settings to their personal preferences.

Comfort and Convenience

The entry-level RAV4’s amenities include a 10.5-inch multimedia display, all-new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual Bluetooth connectivity, six USB ports, a rear cargo area cover and six-speaker audio system.

Engineers have equipped higher-grade models with a 12.9-inch multimedia touchscreen, heated and ventilated front seats, 8-way adjustable driver seat with memory settings, two wireless phone chargers, windshield deicer, rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a 9-speaker premium audio system.

The new RAV4 debuts Toyota’s next-generation multimedia system powered by the Arene OS platform.

This system includes new Voice Assistant functions, offline navigation that displays directions on the digital cluster and a built-in Drive recorder that captures 20-second dash-cam style footage. The center console has also been redesigned and includes repositioned cupholders, a two-way armrest lid for seamless storage access and a removable divider for organizing small items.

A shift-by-wire gear selector replaces the traditional lever on higher trim levels. This provides additional console space and reinforces the SUV’s upscale aesthetic.

Toyota’s RAV4 Hybrid offers 37.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and increases to 70.4 cubic feet when folded, while the plug-in hybrid offers 33.6 cubic feet with the seats up and 63.5 cubic feet with the seats down.

The hands-free liftgate comes with an expansive sensor coverage area. This makes it easier to open the hatch with a foot when carrying a child, shopping bags or sports gear.

Safety

All 2026 RAV4 models come standard with Toyota Safety Sense 4.0. The latest version features a faster data processor, enhanced sensors and wider coverage for detecting vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians in low-light conditions.

  • Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
  • Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

Optional features:
