Toyota's 2024 Camry shines with impressive fuel efficiency, spacious seating and a gamut of safety technologies for drivers and passengers.

The midsize sedan offers various models that match different tastes and lifestyles including fuel-friendly four-cylinder engines, Front and All-Wheel Drives, a stylish Nightshade Edition and an electric hybrid powertrain.

Under the Hood

Camry offers three engine options: 2.5-liter Dynamic Force four-cylinder, a 3.5-liter V-6 and the Toyota Hybrid System. The base engine is the 2.5-liter engine that delivers 203 hp to the front wheels through an eight-speed transmission.

For a sportier experience with quicker acceleration drivers can opt for the 3.5-liter V-6 which offers more aggressive highway speed. Camry Hybrid combines the 2.5-liter Dynamic Force four-cylinder engine output and dual motors to generate 176 hp and 163 Ib-ft of torque.

Comfort and Convenience

Base amenities include a 7-inch floating touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

The full-feature system also includes AM/FM, hands-free phone capability, advanced voice recognition and streaming via Bluetooth wireless technology.

By pairing a compatible phone, drivers can access Google Assistant for real-time traffic alerts, listen to their favorite music or find a place to eat while keeping their hands on the wheel.

Higher grades come with a 9-inch touchscreen display connected to Toyota Audio Plus and several service trials. An available 7-inch multi-information display presents turn-by-turn directions, safety information and alerts for seamless travel.

For adults traveling with children, rear seating offers ample installation space and accessible anchors.  Storage options include a sliding compartment underneath the wireless charger, a well-sized center armrest bin and cubby hole located by the dashboard.

Trunk area stands at a largest-in-its-class 15.1 cubic feet and has a gaping opening and low lift height for easy loading and unloading.

Safety

A 10 Airbag System is standard on all models. In addition to front and rear side curtain airbags, the Camry is equipped with dual-stage driver and front passenger airbags.
